In last 2 major updates (anniversary update end of 2016 and creator update April 2017), I experienced random freezes, it was completely frozen, even if you look at log viewer the message show “force reboot” without any details.
So I began to look at the current status of my PC’s hardware using speccy, nothing seems wrong, temperature, voltage, etc, looks normal. I also updated all drivers, memory check, etc, but the issue persists.
With recent updates, WordPress has increased it server requirement from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7. I think it is the best time to upgrade PHP to follow the requirement. FYI, Most of my servers are running based on Debian Jessie.
Everything bad could happen during your run to your deadline, including your internet connection. I was in that situation couple weeks ago, just a few hours before I should send the document, the connection suddenly went down, and all my data are on the PC no WiFi module available. The first thing I remember was to use my Xiaomi phone to work as Internet Modem.
I didn’t realize it at first, but when I need it, I realize it gone.
For security reason, PPTP VPN connection eliminated on the latest Mac OS started from Sierra. There is no way Apple will bring it back, but fortunately, there’s an App for that. I recently evaluating a VPN client for Mac that supports PPTP and other methods as well.
